Case Studies

The classes are fun. I really enjoy coming to college to learn. I am happy and I am on the right path to achieve my dream.

I last studied maths in 1986-1989. It used to be my favourite subject and I was very good at it. I wanted to become a nurse back then but I didn’t get the opportunity to further my education so my dreams came to an end. I was very happy when I came to UK as I was told I could continue my education. I went to the Lewisham College website and enrolled for English and Maths.

I was invited to come for an assessment at the college in June 2017. I did well in the assessment but some of the question on the paper I didn’t recognise as I had forgotten about them. I wasn’t scared to start the maths course because I knew I would have a good teacher to help me to achieve my dream. I was very happy to start the course as I am good at maths but I just need to be reminded about some topics.

I am very pleased with the way my teacher takes his time to explain things. He makes it very easy to understand the topics. I can confidently say all the students in the class are happy with the teacher.

Next year I am looking forward to studying at next level. My aim is to study for my GCSEs so I can study Theology in Bible school and become a Pastor.
