Aims of the course
To enable you to acquire the key skills you need to progress in the hospitality and catering industry.
Progression Opportunities
You can progress on to further study on the Level 2 Certificate in Culinary Skills Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills or Level 2 Certificate in Food and Beverage Service.
Facilities
You will be provided with up-to-date kitchens including cooking facilities which will enable you to have full access to ovens / ranges grills griddles and deep fat fryers excellent worktop space with washing facilities (hand washing food preparation and washing up) excellent refrigeration space and small and large equipment. To enable you to pass the course you will provided with IT systems Hodder level 2 theory workshops and online assessment tracking facilities. The course will be delivered through practical kitchen classes with practice and assessments plus theory questions set by City and Guilds.

Possible career roles include chef or waiter in a hotel or restaurant as well as a range of other roles in the hospitality and catering industry.
