This course suits those interested in progressing on to study a computing and information technology course at university but who do not yet have the required qualifications. You will participate in main modules including Computer Programming Administering Windows 7 and Server 2008 Networking Fundamentals Routing and Switching Basics WANs Web Authoring Software Web Development and Management Algebra Statistics Trigonometry Operating Systems Research Projects and Examination Skills. Entry Requirements
You will need four GCSEs A*-C / or 9-4 (in 2017 GCSEs). Relevant Level 2 qualification with Merit or above. Relevant industry experience to Level 2 or above.
Assessment Method
Learners are assessed through activities that are internally set by tutors. These include role play practical demonstration report writing group discussion essay and written question/answer.
