Entry Requirements
The aim of this course is to develop the skills and knowledge that you need for a career in IT. Designed to meet the needs of today's businesses this hands-on applied qualifications give learners a chance to gain a nationally recognised vocational qualification and progress to employment or further education in the IT sector.
Assessment Method
This course is designed for those who have little or no knowledge of ICT seeking a route into jobs which require some knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing packages in Microsoft Office. There are 3 units: - IT User Fundamentals - Word processing - Spreadsheets

Learning will take place in classrooms.
Progression Opportunities
You will be assessed with a range of practical work and by completion of end of course assignment.
Facilities
You could choose to progress onto the City and Guilds Level 1 Award for IT Users (ITQ).
