    Entry Requirements

    You'll ideally need to have completed the Level 2 qualification to start this course.We run an initial assessment for students entering directly at Level 3 to ensure their knowledge is at a high enoughstandard.You'll also need a good level of English & Maths.This can be via Level 2 qualifications or GCSEs in both subjects at grade 4 (C) or above or initial diagnostic assessments (Adults). You will also need basic IT skills.

    Assessment Method

    Assessment is by computer-based exams and computer-based projects. You'll need to complete online assessments for:- Final Accounts preparation- Advanced Bookkeeping - Indirect tax- Management Accounting- Ethics for Accountants- Spreadsheet Software(Advanced Synoptic Exam is a combination of Ethics for Accountants & Spreadsheet Software)

    Aims of the course

    The Advanced Diploma in Accounting will prepare you for finance officer roles by giving you a solid foundation in accounts preparation cost & revenue and taxation. It is suited for those who have successfully completed AAT L2 Certificate unqualified accounting staff who are at an intermediate level and want to develop their accounting skills employers looking to upskill their staff people looking to change their careers and those who are looking for an A Level alternativeThis qualification would be appropriate for those who wish to pursue a range of careers in either the private or public sectors.

    Progression Opportunities

    Upon successful completion of this course you can progress onto our AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting Programme.

    Facilities

    We have a wide range of computer rooms and labs with industry standard hardware and software where you will learn a range of skills. Students also does have access to library facilities. The course is delivered through a mixture of classroom face-to-face lessons workshops and presentations.

    Career Options

    The skills developed by studying this qualification will give students a solid base from which to seek employment with greater confidence or enable them to progress to the next level of learning: AAT Level 4.The skills developed in this qualification can lead to employment roles in finance filed in companies across a wide range of sectors for example as a:- Accounts Officer- Accounts Payable Officer - Bookkeeper Officer- Payroll Officer- Accounts Manager

Coronavirus update
