The talented students of Lewisham College's Skills for Performing Arts Level 1 programme presented a one-of-a-kind play that combined vampires and zombies in a hilarious and unique way. The spooky setting of a haunted school added an extra layer of thrill, keeping everyone, from the students' peers and families to the teaching team, on the edge of their seats.

This performance was not just a play, but a transformative journey for the students. It was a great confidence-builder and an excellent opportunity for them to hone their soft skills, which are vital for their next steps. Through this play, the students also refined their physical awareness and body movement, crucial elements of the performing arts.

Being part of the play was an incredible experience for the students. It pushed them out of their comfort zone and allowed them to highlight their creativity and talent.

The resounding success of this performance highlights the importance of fostering talent and integrating creative activities into the curriculum. These activities contribute to the student's overall development, boosting their skills, confidence, and preparedness for their next steps.
