Learners and staff at Lewisham College celebrated their achievements on GCSE results day, with many achieving top marks in their English and maths and Level 3 courses. These achievements open opportunities for further education, including vocational, technical, and academic pathways.

Jamie Stevenson, Principal of Lewisham College, said: "Our learners' success in their GCSE exams is a testament to their hard work and perseverance. They have shown remarkable resilience and commitment. We are proud of what they have accomplished. It's wonderful to see so many learners reaching their potential and securing the grades they need to pursue their next steps."

Lewisham College offers a diverse range of full-time and part-time courses for 16-18s and adults. These include T Levels and BTECs, Access to Higher Education, Supported Learning, English, maths and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and employability courses including the Lewisham College Hospitality Hub part of the Mayor of London’s Skills Academies.

These programmes are designed to support learners to develop professional skills, build their confidence and gain the qualifications they need to achieve their career ambitions.

In addition to celebrating these results, the Lewisham College team visited local schools to provide information, advice, and guidance, helping young people make informed decisions about their post-16 education options. Our goal is to empower them to navigate their future paths with confidence and clarity, making the right choice for them.
