Lewisham College held its annual Student Awards on 3 July 2024, celebrating the outstanding achievements of its young and adult learners.

Taking place in the College’s Breakspears Hall, which had been beautifully transformed to celebrate achievement, the event demonstrated the growth and dedication of the winners in their academic studies. Students and their families, faculty staff and distinguished guests gathered to celebrate this important milestone in the academic year.

Lewisham College Principal, Jamie Stevenson, gave a warm welcome, commending the students for their hard work and resilience, reminding them of the college’s continued support for their futures. Jamie said: “Congratulations on your achievements! As you move forward, remember that Lewisham College is always here for you. We are proud of you and can't wait to see what you do next.”

Awards were presented to 16-18 students across a variety of categories, including awards for Excellence, Resilience, Inspiration to Others, Employability and Diversity. Special commendations were also presented to the Student Council before the event closed with the coveted Students of the Year Award.
