Lewisham College recently hosted a unique art exhibition showcasing the distinctive work of its students from the Supported Learning Art and Design programme. The event celebrated the students' creative talents, featuring various pieces, including drawings, 3D, and photography.

The students used recycled materials in their pieces demonstrated their artistic techniques but also their environmental consciousness, truly incorporating the college's commitment to sustainability.

Their work was inspired by visits to the British Library and collaborations with local artists, is a testament to their artistic engagement and creativity within their community. This involvement not only enriched their artistic process but also uplifted the exhibition, making it well-received by the college community.

The initiative emphasised the importance of inclusion and the unifying power of art, allowing the students to stand proudly with their creations and highlighting their joy and enthusiasm. Coronavirus update

Lewisham College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available. This information is for students and staff and reflects updates from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England (PHE). We are prepared to escalate our contingency arrangements in the event of change.
